Method & assumptions

Adjusted monthly cash benefit = assumed benefit × adoption × attribution. Cash ROI = (benefits over horizon − cash costs) ÷ cash costs. Payback is the first month cumulative cash benefits cover cost.

Hypothetical worked example

$12,000 upfront and $2,500 monthly cash benefits for 12 months gives $18,000 net and 150% ROI; month-end payback occurs in month 5.

Scope and limitations

  • User-entered planning assumptions, not verified market data or a professional determination.
  • Benefits are projections, not evidence of causal impact. Payback uses month-end cash flows; allocated time is reported separately.
